Spinach pasta

My son served this to us several years ago and it has become a staple of our kitchen. Various changes can be rung but this is the baseline.  Grandmother of 2, California
  • spinach and cheese ravioli (or whatever pasta is on hand, including whole wheat)
  • pine nuts (unless you have to remortgage the house - in which case walnuts)
  • minced garlic
  • olive oil
  • fresh spinach
  • parmesan
  1. Olive oil to cover a frying pan.
  2. Wash the spinach.
  3. Start the water for the pasta.
  4. Saute the garlic and the pine nuts and turn heat to low.
  5. Depending on the cooking time for the pasta, start the pasta and wilt the spinach in the garlic/nuts pan.
  6. Serve and savour.
